Surasak Montri's Addiction Information

Given how wide spread addiction is you would think that there would be more information on the subject available. Sadly this is not the case which is why I have started this website, to make sure that people who need help dealing with addiction know where to get it.

The reason that I started this website is to help people who have an addiction, this is something that I know all about because I have had my own problems with addiction. Therefore I know exactly what it is like to try to deal with it and I also know that there is no way that you will be successful without help. That is why the main purpose of this site is to show people where they can get help when they have an addiction.

The biggest challenge that you are going to have when it comes to dealing with addiction is admitting to yourself that you are an addict. At the time I never would have admitted it. I can look back now and I read the definitions of addiction and I can clearly see that I had all of the classic symptoms but at the time I really didn't think that I had a problem. I honestly thought that I had it under control. I realize now that I was just deluding myself and that had somebody shown me the symptoms of addiction back then I would have had to admit that I was in fact an addict.

Since I wouldn't admit that I had a problem with my addiction it became necessary for other people to point it out to me. Eventually the signs would become so obvious that everybody could tell that I clearly had a problem. However had my family had more information on how to spot an addiction in another person they certainly would have realized it long before they actually did. That would have probably gotten me into treatment sooner which would have made getting over the addiction easier. That is why we have included information on this site to help you recognize the signs of addiction in loved ones, so that you can get them help.

There are several options available to help you to deal with addictions and you will need to decide which is most appropriate based on what you are addicted to and how serious your addiction is. Your budget will also likely become a factor as well. If you do know somebody who is an addict I would encourage you to do everything that you can to get them into a treatment program. Despite what a lot of people think you don't have to wait until they hit rock bottom and they don't have to decide to change. Many people who have been forced into treatment have successfully gotten over their addiction. The sooner you get them treatment the better the results will be.
